Fashion: Zimmermann

OBJECTIVE

Through their Parisian agency OBO, Australian fashion house Zimmermann wanted to generate a comprehensive set of high-impact photo and video assets for its upcoming Resortwear Ready-to-Wear 2025 collection campaign. Zimmermann needed to maximize campaign assets with both runway and back-of-house looks.

CHALLENGE

To generate the looks Zimmermann wanted, we needed to feature every aspect of a typical fashion show, minus only the audience. Finding the location was key: polished concrete floors, high ceilings, with high-level facilities for creative talent, management, models, and stylists. Scenic design and fabrication, lighting, and video were also top priorities.

SOLUTION

We identified and rented Nya Studios in Hollywood, which exceeded all creative and logistical objectives, accommodating runway presentation, back-of-house photo and video capture, and full collection preparation areas. Media capture included 5 video cameras and 3 stills cameras, ensuring versatile high-resolution content for Zimmermann’s global marketing and PR needs. Under the leadership of fashion director Leila Chouaib, art director Brahim Mouffok, and production executive Grégoire Grojean, we transformed Zimmermann’s vision into a striking runway design, featuring low platforms with a sleek neon-edged aesthetic, beautifully reflected in the polished concrete flooring to create a dynamic, high-fashion presentation environment.

RESULTS

Lighting and dressing the large industrial space to serve multiple objectives required detailed planning and coordination. The production involved over 100 crew across 3 days, delivering a seamless runway experience that supported 10 models showcasing 50 looks, with maximum visual impact.
